The Effort of Easy
in 3 Steps! - Written
by: Randall Gartman
[FIRSTNAME], do you remember
when I told you that my eZines aren't going
to be about a lot of calorie crunching? You
either have my eMpowering eCalc Lite or Pro
Version right now to do that for you. No,
the Tip-Tow information is about changing
your lifestyle step-by-step so losing weight
and gaining muscle are easy for you and not
so nasty to think about every day.
Here are some things you can do right
now to change your steps.
1. Stop trying to eat everything
that will make a billy-goat puke because somebody
told you that eating that way was healthy
or the "RIGHT WAY". Let's talk about
sensible food that you like to eat. Instead
of going to the Dinner table every night dreading
the food you are about to eat, why not make
some healthy choices that you like to eat.
The only challenges you will have after that
is controlling your quantities and keeping
your meals balanced. If you are unsure of
those two things you can use the eCalc Programs
to help you out or think of the following
portions and ratios.
1 protein the size of the palm
of your hand (3/4's of your palm if it is
a fattier protein).
2 carbs the size of your fist (subtract one
if it is a fruit or high glycemic carb) and
o
1 good fat the size of your thumb (1/2 your
thumb if your fat is a saturated fat and no
thumb if your protein is a saturated fat).
You can eat anything you want but you can't
eat candy for your carbs nor can you eat high
fatty foods every day. I guarantee you that
you will find good sources of healthy foods
that you really like to eat if work at it,
can't you?
Here is the kicker - eat all
day long just like that. In fact, try to do
it six times. Remember though, you are eating
foods you like to eat.
2. Now that you are eating
six times a day, you are probably having a
hard time getting your meals in, aren't you?
Try this - Plan your meals in advance
and make them easy to eat. For instance-
:Lettuce wraps - Stuff any
balanced idea into a roll of piece of lettuce
after heating it in the Microwave. This is
less than a minute if your stuff your putting
in the Lettuce is already made.
Egg white breakfast burrito
with wheat tortilla and salsa - This will
take 2 minutes. I have timed it in the mornings.
While getting your eggs and
stuff out, put your pan on the stove to heat
up and add some non stick spray. Crack 3 or
4 eggs into a mixing bowl and with a spoon,
take out all the yolks but leave one yolk
in the bowl. Next, take some squeeze Smart
Beat Butter and squeeze about a tbs in the
bowl and mix the contents until blended well.
Pour the contents into the pan and you will
be done with your eggs in about a minute.
If you want a heated tortilla, spray some
more non-stick spray into the pan and drop
it in to the pan. It usually takes about 20
seconds on one side and 20 seconds on the
other. Add salsa and you are done.
Get creative and have fun.
3. Make your exercise fun and
your activities challenging. Don't make exercise
a chore and try to add some some stuff to
your daily activity such as park in the back
row or take the stairs. Making your exercise
fun isn't as hard as you think. Simply choose
some stuff you like doing like dancing, games
(make them physical - change the rules and
play speed horse shoes - don't be confused
just play a really fast game of horse shoes),
play twister (who cares its fun), walk your
dog or kids or basically start enjoying life.
Do you think that you can
do those things? I believe you can. Stop thinking
that food is bad and exercise is hard by changing
the way you perceive LIFE. Start living it
and stop watching it!!!

| The
eMpowering pHysical mAstery is
due out very soon and I want be aware
that you are probably going to be a witness
to a change in the way the fitness industry
views health forever. Why is that you
might ask? Well without going too deep,
it is because most fitness professionals
concentrate solely on nutrition and exercise.
The problem with that plan is, a lot of
people already know how to exercise and
eat right, they just don't apply the principles.
That is why you still see a lot of obese
Doctors. |
|
The eMpowering pHysical mAstery
program is centered around adjusting
certain things within your lifestyle
without stressing you out about it.
I meet so many people that think food
is bad or exercise is worse. This program
is about changing that. Oh, you will
still see some standard health, fitness
training and nutritional guidelines
but you will also find mental strategies,
tips to accomplishing your daily tasks,
strategies on how to adjust your lifestyle
without killing yourself and guilt-free
living.

you posted about the debut of this program
in May, 2004 but I thought you might
want to have this heads up about what
it will contain:

and get results

that helps you enjoy food without
all the guilt

If
you have ever really paid attention
to anything I have written, you must
get this book.
I have to keep reminding
people that Carbs aren't bad, it is
only the types of Carbs that are bad.
The only time you may need to restrict
your Carbs is if you are a Diabetic.
Sandra Woodruff knew this too and she
created a great cookbook using recipes
that won't spike your sugar.
Make sure you get a copy! |
